American Art Schools Festival
From July 4 to 26, the Festival des Écoles d'art américaines punctuates the month of July with lectures, guided tours and musical walks! The musical notes of students and musicians resonate in the château and Théâtre Municipal.

Since 1921, the American Art Schools (EAAF) have been held at the Château de Fontainebleau during the summer, and have grouped together a French foundation that welcomes young musicians and composers who have graduated from leading American universities.
The Château de Fontainebleau and the American Schools of Art, under the artistic direction of cellist Diana Ligeti, have turned this summer academy into a veritable festival dedicated to excellence, promoting creation and bringing together all audiences.
An elegant range of classical concerts, lectures... with a wide variety of instruments to listen to without moderation.
