In the heart of the forest of Fontainebleau, mythical place for climbing and walks, we welcome you to the Cosy Corner of l’Escal'Arbonne " for a stay with family or friends, or for the organization of your seminars.

Just 50 km from the gates of Paris, ideally located between Fontainebleau and Milly la Forêt, and just a few km from the village of Barbizon's painters, come and stop at us!
You will be seduced by the environment, calm and nature!

The space
Get the comforts of new construction completed in July 2021, with warm and original décor. Large furnished and fully equipped cottage, sleeping up to 9-10 people depending on the configuration of your group. 9 adult beds + 1 permanent baby bed.
Everything has been thought and designed to accommodate groups and families. Teleworking made easy : Wifi of excellent quality and various office spaces with RJ45 connectors in each bedroom.

Ground floor :
- spacious and practical entrance to drop off coats, bags and shoes, with compartment for crash pads.
- Large living room with fully equipped open plan new kitchen (oven, induction stove, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, full cookware, coffee maker, etc.).
- Farm table to host your meals, board games or work meetings
- Cozy sitting area with flat screen SMART TV
- Bedroom 2 people with bed 160cm, desk and storage
- Shower room/ WC

Upstairs :
- 3 beautiful bedrooms of about 15m² each and spacious shower room.
- The Dormitory : bedroom with 3 single beds in 90cm in an atmosphere with minimalist and clean decoration.
- The Valley : Bedroom with 2 single beds in 90cm that can be brought together if necessary. Great scenery atmosphere ! Desk, storage and possibility to add an umbrella bed.
- L’Herbier : bedroom with 1 bed 160cm and 1 baby bed, 1 desk, in a more delicate floral atmosphere.
- Shower room with shower 90x120, large vanity, storage, toilet and changing table.

For your comfort, at the Cosy Corner, all sheets and towels are included in the price. The beds will even be made for your arrival!

For the pleasure of young and old, many board games as well as some toys for children of all ages, books and comics are at your disposal.
If necessary, provision of a high chair and a baby bath.

Outside, you can enjoy a terrace under the birches, with garden furniture, parasol and BBQ dedicated to the cottage.

Super quiet environment. Large fully enclosed garden, with magnificent century-old pines and a majestic listed oak. Games for children (swing, slide, trampoline 4m, Molkky, balls...).
Note: the use of outdoor games is common with the occupants of our 2nd cottage (5persons), located opposite the property.

Access via a gate (which will soon be motorized) with 3 secure parking spaces.

Climbing friends: we are located only minutes from the most famous climbing sites (Isatis, Cuisinière, Gorge aux Chats, La Canche aux Merciers, Drei Zinnen, Cuvier, Le Cul de Chien, Apremont, etc...). You'll be on site in just 3 to 15 minutes!

For amateur horse riders or in competition, we are located 5 minutes by car from Barbizon and 10 minutes from the Grand Parquet.

And if you are hikers, you will have direct access to the forest from the house! Numerous circuits accessible just a few minutes from the village. We will be happy to inform you

Do not forget the culture, for which we are not outdone either: you can visit splendid castles (Fontainebleau, Courances, Vaux le Vicomte), stroll through the art galleries of Barbizon, or discover more atypical places such as the sculpture of the Cyclop, the house of Jean Cocteau, the chapel of the Simples and the villages that border the river of Loing.

Passenger access
Shared access to the garden and children's play areas (swing, trampoline, outdoor games etc.). Secure key box in case of arrival in our absence.

Other remarks
The accommodation is a short walk from a farm selling seasonal vegetables and local products (every Saturday and Sunday morning).
Sale of artisanal organic bread, brioches, special breads every Tuesday and Friday from 3: 30 pm to 7: 00 pm on the village square, as well as a bulk grocery store at the same times.
The village pizzeria (Dolce Pizza) can deliver you very good pizzas in the Gîte !
And soon : opening of a new restaurant 50m from the cottage !

For climbing, rental of crash pads possible by the day or by the week. To be booked.
Mountain Bike rental also possible (with baby seat loan if necessary).
