      Offering 800 years of history, the guide will take you through the streets and monuments where the kings and emperors of France stayed, such as François 1er, Henri IV, Louis XIV, Louis XV, Napoléon 1er and Napoléon III.

      This visit will be an opportunity to discover anecdotes about the court of kings, street names or historical facts over the ages.

       You will discover the church, the market place, the town hall, the theatres, the rue des Sablons which will allow you to learn more about the daily life of the inhabitants at different times.

      Did you know that the name "Fontainebleau" comes from a legend that a dog named Bléau or Bliaud would have discovered the fountain located in the English garden of the castle?

      This name was also given to a cheese ! At the end, take the chance to taste this local speciality made by a cheese-maker of the city , a great culinary experience !
