The Musée des Peintres de Barbizon is very fortunate to have been selected to host 4 works on loan from the Musée d'Orsay, which resonate with the museum's project, whose landscapes, animal scenes and still lifes are an essential medium for exploring notions of climate and biodiversity.

More than ever, the links between art and ecology deserve to be highlighted in this founding place for the protection of "nature". The renewed display on the museum's upper floor will thus lead to a focus on "Landscapes & Peasants".

Here are the four works on loan from the Musée d'Orsay:
      - Théodore Rousseau, Clairière dans la Haute Futaie, Forêt de Fontainebleau
      - Charles-François Daubigny, Moisson
      - Constant Alexandre Famin, Peasant mowing,
      - Constant Alexandre Famin, Young peasant making hay.

The program of events and guided tours will be available soon.
