European Heritage Days

    In 2024, the European Heritage Days, organized on September 21 and 22, will focus on "Heritage of routes, networks and connections" and "Maritime heritage".

      Saint-Pierre Church
      - Self-guided and guided tours, Saturday 21/09 and Sunday 22/09, 2pm to 5pm.


      Avon cemetery
      - Self-guided tours of Avon's remarkable tombs, Saturday 21/09 and Sunday 22/09 from 8am to 7pm.


      Carmelite Convent
      - Self-guided or guided tours of the Père Jacques Memorial, garden and convent, Saturday 21/09 and Sunday 22/09 from 2pm to 5:30pm.
      - Screening of the documentary "Par la Croix vers la lumière", 52 minutes, Saturday 21/09 and Sunday 22/09 at 2.30pm and 4pm.


      Dairy
      - Self-guided tours, in partnership with Atelier des Pot's d'Avon, Saturday 21/09 and Sunday 22/09 from 10am to 5pm.


      Seine banks
      - Operation Berges Saines, Sunday 22/09 from 9am to 12pm. Protect your environment by picking up litter on the banks of the Seine.
      - Discover the wild natural heritage of Avon's Seine banks, Sunday 22/09 from 2pm to 3.30pm. Learn more about Avon's biodiversity, with Xavier Japiot, naturalist and municipal councillor responsible for flowers, biodiversity and differentiated management of spaces. Registration required


      Les Sources Vives media library
      - Café des sciences "le climat à tous les temps: passé, présent futur", Friday 20/09 at 6pm, duration 1h30. Exchange/discussion with climatologist Alain Mazaud. In partnership with the Seine-et-Marne departmental media library and the Terre Avenir association. Registration required.
      - Exhibition "Avon vers la modernité : évolutions du 19e au 21e siècle", Saturday 09/21 from 10am to 6pm and Sunday 09/22 from 3pm to 6pm, 4th part of the exhibition "Avon, des sources à l'avenir", free admission.


      Domaine de Bel-Ébat
      - Exhibition of the Illustrious of Avon on the park gates from 09/21. Discover the history of the great names who have lived in Avon.
      - Immersive show "Une réception à Bel-Ébat au début du XXe siècle", Saturday 21/09 at 2pm and 4pm, duration 1h15. Marie and Jacques Durand invite you to wander around the rooms, accompanied by actors and musicians from the Chauffe-Brûle company. Free, registration required, open to all.
      - Concert at Bel-Ébat by students and teachers from AVon Musique et Culture (AMC), Saturday 21/09 at 6pm, free admission.
      - Self-guided tours, Sunday 22/09 from 10am to 5pm.
      - Guided tours, Sunday 22/09 at 11am, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm, duration 30 minutes, all ages.
      - Concert by Quatuor Magenta, Sunday 22/09 at 5.30pm, organized by the ProQuartet association, under the bandstand in the park, free admission.
