      Opened in 2016, Le Fuumi is the second establishment of the duo Kunihisa Goto, Michelin-starred chef of L'Axel restaurant, and his partner Vanessa Blondeau. Born of a desire to offer a more convivial and accessible Japanese experience, Le Fuumi blends authenticity, sharing and elegance in a setting that's both warm and exotic.

      In a typically Japanese yet resolutely family-friendly atmosphere, the menu pays tribute to the great classics of Japanese gastronomy: Okonomiyaki (Japanese savory crepe), miso soup, gyozas, ramen, sashimi and Wagyu beef. The chef and his team prepare the dishes on a Teppanyaki, allowing guests to watch them being prepared and experience a true immersion in Japanese cuisine.

      At the helm of Le Fuumi, Chef Kenta Iyori infuses his know-how and creativity into a menu that evolves with the seasons. In 2024, Le Fuumi made it into the prestigious Gault & Millau guide, which awarded it a toque in recognition of the quality and precision of its cuisine.

      The restaurant has two separate dining rooms, each able to seat up to 45 guests:
      The first room, with its contemporary design combining metal and wood, offers a warm, elegant atmosphere.

      The second, more intimate room is located right next to the open kitchen, where guests can watch the chefs at work.

      These spaces are complemented by a rooftop that can accommodate up to 15 guests, ideal for a moment of relaxation in a peaceful, privileged setting. Whether for a special occasion, a meal with friends or a gastronomic break, Le Fuumi invites you on a culinary journey to Japan, without leaving Fontainebleau.
